Title: Double bottle / flask use?
Post by: SNJ on January 11, 2018, 10:26:44 PM
Is this double bottle too small for vinegar and oil and would a vinegar bottle even use a silver top? Any opinions would be welcome.
It's a shame the lids are missing and it would be interesting to know if anyone is able to refer me to online pictures of a complete item.

Height 4¾" / 12cm, London hallmark 1926, Henry Williamson.

in this link you can see several that are similar or very similar to yours  -  with a variety of methods of sealing the tops  -  unfortunately sizes aren't always given for these things.

Thanks Paul, so they are for oil and vinegar.

Several images of very similar double bottles on Google showing hinged flat lids, too - I just put in the wrong search words  ::)
