Title: DR = DRP (Deutsches Reichspatent)?

One of my Falconnier bricks has "DR 10708" emossed on the seal.  I thought DR might be another abbreviation for DRP (Deutsches Reichspatent) but an espacenet search for German patent# 10708 turned up something which didn't match (https://worldwide.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/originalDocument?CC=DE&NR=10708C (https://worldwide.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/originalDocument?CC=DE&NR=10708C)), although the date (1880) is about right.  Well, it found "10708(C)" whatever that means.

Suggestions as to what else could it be?

Also, are there tables anywhere which show German patent# ranges for a given year?  I'm particularly interested in historic stuff, late 19th century and early 20th.

So possibly not a patent number, as that is a metal working machine.... root around on site for design register

Hi Frank....    thanks for persisting in this.  I dug around DepatisNet some but did not see any possibilities, alas...   looks like it continues to be a mystery.   But: "Never give up.  Never give up!  Never EVER give up!"

I very much doubt that "DR" was ever used as abbreviation for "Deutsches Reichspatent".
I guess the most common use is for "Deutsche Reichsbahn" (German railway system until shortly after WWII) - but I don't see how this could fit in here ???.
