Title: fleur de li vase with awful lozenge
Post by: brucebanner on January 30, 2018, 10:38:01 PM
Picked this up today, i thought it had a crisp mark to  the inner base. I have tried blue tack and silver foil rubbing but no good, i think i'm reading v and x but it makes no sense.

It measures 8 1/2 inches in height,

Regards Chris.

This dinged a bell, Chris,  so I searched the board and found your earlier post about a similar piece with a lozenge that wasn't clear either.... seems this pattern may be going to stay a mystery for a while longer. :'(
