Not Dartington Studio I ever saw, Chris, do you have a link or something?
I'm not doubting you, just I did find this stuff (D Studio) when it was being made new, and I was following what they were doing and the ranges they produced in the Stuart Visitor centre in Crieff at the time. I even had to get a bit of one range ordered and made especially for me. I kind of lost interest when they went all cranberry twist stuff though, and the studio closed soon after that.
Do you know when this IoW-Kyoto-like stuff was made by Dartington Studio?

I've never seen a polished base on Dartington Studio. All heat finished.
Could it be an odd bit of Stuart Strathearn Impressions? (but do they not have polished rims? - I haven't got any to hand to check)

Hello Sue, don't think it's one of the 'impressions' range, have a few of those, I'd have put money on it being IOW but  ??? ;D ;D

It might even be Mdina. They did go pink and white later on with a finish exactly like that on the base.
It doesn't look quite finely blown enough for IoWSG, but it could be from the maker's shelves if it were, which would explain the non-standard shape.

Looking again I'm probably wrong with Dartington studio the ones I have had have had black in them, I think I have still got a paperweight or a vase dartington studio I will have a look when I get home. Very similar though.

I'd really love to see it. It would be a new Dartington Studio design to me, it's annoying there's one I don't know about.

Hello Sue if you google pink dartington studio vase you will see one of the ones I have its about 5 inches tall and I think the other is an egg same colour. Both are stamped on the base with the same mark as a green vase I put on here a while ago.

I did, thanks. I suspect I may have "forgotten" it, because of it being pink and white.
We have a strong aversion to that combination in our house. It just doesn't exist in our lives. (Except by accident, in a dish of berries and vanilla ice cream.)  ;D
