6.5 inches across, 3.5 tall, signed to the base, oily finish to the surface, I'd never have thought it was one of theirs / his :o ;D ;D

(I do doubt it.)
Royal Brierley? (trying an old and trusted name from you, Keith.)
However, I have seen thick base feet like that, on Caithness.
-
Sorry Sue, not those either ;D

I'll give you a clue, it's looks nothing like what you'd expect from them / him !

I'm sure there are a thousand makers whose names are just on the tip of my tongue, but they're all escaping me. Colander for brain. ;D

Afraid not John, getting warmer !
-
Warmer as in the Midlands but not originally ??? ;D ;D
-
Jonathan Harris?
-
Clue ? started in Yorkshire and moved to the Midlands, various places, the 'company' as far as I know is not making anything at the moment and the gentleman in question moved to start up a new studio and may soon be retiring, does this help ?
-
In that case Richard Golding.
-
Made it to easy methinks, well spotted John ! ;D ;D
-
It was the retiring soon bit Keith, also heard that he is trying out things that commercial pressures prevented in the past, everyone should be able to indulge and have a bit of fun now and again!
-
Oh yes ! ;D ;D
