Title: * Wanted * Burtles Tate - Ostrich shape flower vase

Just on the off chance, my father would really like a Burtles Tate Ostrich shape flower vase, Rd120808  04/03/1889, I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who may have one to offer.
Alternatively if anyone sees one for sale I would also be very grateful for pointers in the right direction.

I got curious about what I ought to be looking for.  :)

Is it the ostrich on the thick base? You need to scroll down a little to find it.
Any particular colour?

Yes that’s the one, any colour would do, there are few references about them so I don’t know what Other colours there maybe. We have some similar references from “marking times” the same as your link.

My most exciting B&T find was a damaged wall pocket.
And I can assure you, I was really, really, really excited! ;D

Hi Sue, thanks again for that link it’s very hard to find another example, I showed my father Neil’s website a while ago and he was most excited. Below is his opalescent collection.

Do i see a couple of contemporary Sunderland vases too?

I think they are scarce Sowerby vases
