Hello all,
Can anyone help ID the maker of this nice vase?
Sorry about the tiny photos from my original post...
-
Have you looked through the Loetz (or possibly Kralik) site?
-
I was not aware of a Loetz or Kralik site...let me google....
-
Looks a lot like Loetz Phoenomen....anyone agree?
-
Similar, but I can't see an exact match.
Actually the shape seems to resemble Rindskopf rather more..

I'm no expert though, I just took an interest because I love this kind of Bohemian art nouveau glass. I believe there are some people with deep knowledge of this area of glass however who frequent the forum, so hopefully you'll get some advice from them. Lovely vase though!

Looks contemporary to me, something along these lines:

a while ago ( not that long perhaps in the last year or two) I saw quite a few vases appearing on ebay as new in Bohemian style type vases. They looked to be very well made and had all these type of 'Loetz' ish colouring and feathering iirc on them.
Perhaps, if it is new, it is one of those? Unfortunately I cannot remember if they were signed in any way or not.

I remember seeing those...they had all kinds of vases and lamp shades....they were a company in Czechoslovakia I think...

I can see exactly why John provided that link, and I now think that is far more likely than my first sort of vague thoughts which were the American companies Duggan or Quezcal.
