Title: Wave ribbed vase, pale amber
Post by: SNJ on April 08, 2018, 10:02:20 PM
Stands a little under 10" tall, a wave ribbed vase with brim in pale amber. Lots of wear to the base, ground pontil scar. Can't see the shape in the online Whitefriars catalogues so perhaps a different factory?

Could you post a picture looking straight into the mouth of the vase, Webb's did a wave pattern but it may help with an id.

I was about to suggest the same thing SNJ.  You may get a hexagonal pattern which would push towards it being Whitefriars.  Or you may get a rounded corner square like my photo which is a typical Thomas Webb mould characteristic.

Hexagonal mould so probably a Whitefriars piece.
