Title: Blue 'bamboo' shape pitcher with large polished pontil mark.

Any ideas about possible maker would be much appreciated please :D.  I'm guessing it might be something like a Martini pitcher ???, possibly part of a bar ware set.
Just over 10" high and really well made with a large polished pontil mark on the base, along with lots of age related wear. 
Its slightly more greeny blue colour than shown - turquoise or teal?????
