Title: Craquele glass vase with black base and rim – French? Art Deco? – ID please
Post by: kocoma on May 08, 2018, 10:26:43 PM
I bought this vase a few weeks ago without any clue about its origin.
Beautiful crackled glass with black rim and base with pontil mark.
The scratches on the base let me think it ist old, maybe Art deco period.
Dimensions: approx. height 20 cm / Ø 17 cm
Any ideas are welcome :) Thank you

Be patient please, not everyone visits everyday, it sometimes takes a while for the person who knows to come along. You may also get a better response if you add your images to the board directly as attachments, as many users dislike visiting off-board image storage. It also helps support the board as a repository of information in perpetuity. See here for more on posting images: https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html
