Hi. Hope someone can help. Blown glass jug that measures 30 cm tall x 11 cm in diameter (excluding handle) and weighs 1.1 kgs, ground out polished pontil and a very elaborate applied handle in clear blown glass. Possibly crystal (a nice 'ring' when tapped), Despite the distinctive handle I've not been able to find anything yet so any help would be much appreciated.

Krosno is a possibility but these MCM jugs are notoriously difficult to ID

I have seen one with a "Made in Poland" label, having been curious about these myself and keeping an eye open when out and about.
Even Krosno itself isn't a single maker as such, but was an area where there were several very good makers were in operation.
(I got in a terrible tangle several years ago, wanting to visit the maker "Krosno". ::))
It eventually got taken over by the distributor LSA and their labels are found now, rather than ones saying Krosno.

Krosno Glass is a company, but there were other glassmakers in Krosno. However, much of their stuff was made under contract so labelled pieces are rare (I have a boxed set somewhere) https://www.krosno.com.pl/en/

So - Polish and maybe Krosno (I've had a look at the link and Kronso as a company appears to have been going since 1923). I'll carry on looking down this route to see what I can find. BTW this is the first time I've picked up a jug of this type and I don't know what MCM stands for - could someone let me know.

Sorry, I don't know either.
I did see a full amber water set, but with a different, far more common shape of jug recently, every single piece had a Krosno Label.
I use to buy labelled Krosno in TKMaxx and elsewhere, years ago, but i don't have any left now. And I'm regretting letting it go, now. ;D
