Hello, I'm new here - having recently developed a vintage glass habit over the past few months!
I've been collecting mostly Scandinavian pieces, but I was so taken with these two little vases I could not resist. I can only guess they are Italian, but otherwise I have no idea as to origin. Any ideas?
Each is blown of extremely thin glass, with the mottled colours translucent and slightly opalescent in spots. For the sand-coloured vase the base is hollow. They measure 8" and 6" high respectively. I am located outside of Vancouver, BC.
Thank you!

Hello and welcome, the first one reminds me of pieces made in Israel copying ancient glass, the second I'm not so sure ;D ;D

Thank you, Keith - you are spot on!
They are very similar to these below, especially the first photo. So mystery somewhat solved at likely Israeli contemporary.

Glad to help ;D ;D

The decor at the bottom of the other one looks consistent with the other, but another maker of similar delicate lampwork is Lauscha of Germany.
