Title: Uranium hand painted pressed glass bowl and matching candleholders
Post by: Anne E.B. on June 07, 2018, 07:32:12 PM
Any ideas who might have made the matching bowl and candleholders please?
I've gone through all the catalogues on glas-musterbuch.de and Presglas-Pavilion.de without success and I don't think I'll find it in any of my books, but will check.
It once had gold enamel decoration but that has worn off.  I'm not sure whether these were part of a dinner service set, as the candle holders look like they could be from a trinket set.
No markings unfortunately.  Glows wonderfully even the painted over sections.
TIA :)

I think they are American and what's called a console set. Ask here http://www.chataboutdg.com

Thanks Christine, I'll do that. :)
I did think that the candle holders were a little like Fostoria's 'Beverly' design, but not an exact match.
I'll get back if and when I get any further info.
