[Mod: This topic has been split off from Davidson comport? (https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,11243.msg82839.html#msg82839)
I have two comports with what seems a rose and thistle design with wavy edges. They have a lion and crown marking and I would like to find out what year they were made and the current value.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

hello Michelle - welcome to the GMB :)
We would need to see a picture, or two, of your glass - there are many variations and makers of comports, and as far as I know Davidson's lion trade mark from the late C19, doesn't have a crown.
Values for glass are not something that are provided on the GMB - again too variable, and mostly a personal matter, just something we tend not to discuss.
However, if we can provide an identification of your glass, you might then look at ebay or other auction sites and possibly find similar pieces to see quoted values. :)

I think Michelle might be having some problems posting pix - I've offered some advice and pointed to the Board's notes on guidance, and suggested she posts a note here if there are still some issues.
