Title: Swirled onion vase bottle - signed

Hi Guys, any idea about this 8" signed onion bottle please? Polished pontil and a fair bit of base wear.
The dealer I bought it off said it came from a Norwegian family.
I'm not sure which way up the signature should be so i have put a pic both ways!!
