Me again... :-[
Would anyone with access to this book care to identify the likely makers of: 1) the gold-amber jug with low waist and slanting rim, second from right, back row; 2) the curvaceous dark blue jug with foot, front row centre?
I have 1) in a pale, chilly blue, which I'd always thought to be Holmegaard's 'aqua', and 2) in a dark grey, which intensifies to a charcoal blue in the short stem. I've searched the http://hardernet.dk/ Holmegaard collectors' site, but can't see either one there.
Thank you.

Jugs are notoriously difficult to pin a maker to. (Andy didn't in the book, did he?)
There's one common style, not illustrated there, which i have seen Krosno labels on.
I know one with a very steep sloped spout is a Nanny Still design.
But I don't know if anybody has seen other shapes with labels or found the makers.
I do suspect many of them will be Polish.
I have one oddly shaped jug I suspect may be by Zbigniew Horbowy, (a Polish glass designer I'm terribly keen on) but his jugs are very different to the more general ones illustrated in Andy's Miller's book. They're much taller; colours deepen and fade, or are two toned and they're all a bit spectacular.

The jug to the right of the amber one I'm pretty sure is the 'Roskilde' jug by Holmegaard. Strangely, I've seen the jug shape represented in amber (and mine in blue) described as being the Roskilde jug on a Danish sale site (www.dba.dk) several times now. Comforting to know the Danes get their Holmegaard confused. ;)
I had a quick look for images of Horbowy glass. Very nice.

I'm absolutely lost with Danish and Scandanavian glass, Helen.
But there are plenty of others here who are not. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if the amber one wasn't Krosno; it looks a very Krosno sort of amber to me

A slightly warm and pinkish amber, but not the full rosy glow?
