Title: A lovely Tangerine Angular Vase Cased Orange & Yellow????
Post by: LEGSY on August 30, 2018, 03:25:11 PM
 :)
Love this piece of glass the color is unusual not sure why i feel it is but it kind of changes in the sun a lot almost Gloopy yellow to tangerine seems to have some age maybe mid-century quite a lot of age related wear from movement etc right on the edge of the base and a fired pontil scar. It measures 26.3cm tall 8.7cm at the base and 8.1cm at the rim. Just noticed it is actually cased orange inside and yellow outside very finely done. Any ideas of where or when i am thinking Scandinavian mid century or maybe USA.? Thanks for looking. :)

Uncased mid-century design...looks like Nuutajarvi or Elme to me. I'll post a reference if I can find one.

Uncased - by which I meant not cased in colourless glass. Sorry.

Thank-you...
I am glad a Scandinavian attribution maybe possible on this piece although the lines are not as distinct as some Riihimaki pieces which i also love i feel it's lovely. ::)
