Can anyone help with identifying the signature on the dish.
It looks like there are pieces of wire and silver foil within the glass

;D ;D ;D
I know Ian MacDonald's work - even without clicking to enlarge your pics or see the signature. I have a few of these, which I bought from Ian directly at fairs. They're all completely unique - he uses centrifugal forces - spinning the hot molten glass on the end of the rod, to create the shapes of these and to expand the colours into the final shape.
Exactly what Michael Harris did to create crizzle stones.
Both very brave men to try doing something like this.
He won a Red Cone on a scholarship for a year ages ago, and I think he might even be working back there just now.
There's a thread where I've posted images of Ian's work recently.
ETA. Link to the thread I started and to say that I have enlarged the pics now, just to check absolutely that I'm right. I am. ;D ;D ;D

Many thanks for the identification. I love some of the spun platters in your thread, very beautiful.

They're best in a window, so you get the light coming through them, showing up all the colours and inclusions through all their layers.
Then you worry about setting fire to things. ::)
I couldn't stop at just one of these. ;D
