12 inches high, neatly snapped off pontil mark. Light wear to base rim. Bohemian maybe?
-
Is the decor from slightly stretched silver foil that has reacted?
I can't make too much out when the image is enlarged, but the main pic, as the thumbnail, makes the surface decor look a bit like Charlie Meaker's work, although I'm not aware of him making anything this sort of shape and the blue he used was a bit paler.
-
I don't think it's silver foil, but here's a pic...
-
...just looking at the picture there, it does look like there are bits of foil reflecting. Doesn't do that when i look at it in the sunlight.
-
The close-up shows it's yellow enamels. It's not foil and silver reactions. Sorry for the wild goose chase. :-[

It's intriguing me. I'm not thinking Bohemian, I'm thinking Studio Glass.
If I'm thinking about a location, I am veering towards France, but don't really know why.
It might just be that enamel surface decor looks a little Schneidery. It's quite fine and delicate.
I'm not helping you much. Just giving you my gut rumblings. :-[
It's interesting. ;D

Sue, I know what you mean.
For some reason Josefina Poland comes to mind as well? I know the shape is odd for them. Just thought I'd add it to the possibles.

It's a very attractive and well made thing, isn't it, m? :)
We ought to know. If we don't, we need to find out. ;D
Surface decorated glass was made at Hortensja, in Poland. But they used silver nitrate for that, and that particular range of blue and amber stuff was only made to order. And it's a lot more finely blown than this is.
-
I think what made me think Josefina was the colour of the surface casing. It's an odd beige colour and they used that over a dark blue (iirc).
The shape is a bit symmetrical for what I have seen of their items but it might be from an earlier iteration rather than their more recent decades stuff?
Also I have a huge bowl that is done in a cloudy decor - beautifully done very like Daum or Schneider but I don't think it's French. I seem to have come down on the side of that being made in Poland as well for some reason.
So... I'm thinking that maybe they were good at doing cloudy stuff well but they chose to use this beige enamel effect which I don't think I've seen on the early 20th century French glass makers?
sorry for all the questions - I'm just trying to indicate that these are thought questions, rather than specific to an id.

Using Google lens ;) , managed to find a similar one with a label...
American Ebay item number...
202650199936
Label reads "SILVER ORIGINAL CZECH GLASS" or "ORIGINAL SILVER CZECH GLASS"
Googling the label brought up two other items...
American Ebay item number...

and...

I'm presuming it is the same make as mine, i could be wrong though, but certianly the decor is the same.

Moser made some pieces with the frilled rim and also I think in a similar shape.
