I am looking for assistance identifying this vase, for which my best guess is Sklo.

The base is very similar to one that had been for sale here as Sklo

I'd like to know more about it. It sits approx 17cm high, and the "olives" can be felt on the inside with the outside being smooth.

Hi Andrea / John,
Please note that "sklo" is simply a Czech word for "glass". The item in the 20th century glass website is stated as "Borske Sklo" ... which is the company.
Whether your vase is actually "Borske Sklo" or not is beyond my knowledge. But I feel that the extent of the cut windows and the varying shapes of those in your item may suggest it is not Borsle Sklo.
Hopefully somebody will be along soon with an answer.

Thank you for your quick reply and correction, Kevin. I did mean Borske Sklo but I will be more specific in the future 😊
I have since added a couple more photos to the album. It's difficult to photograph, but the ovals are actually quite consistent in shape and size, but definitely not in placement. The top third of the vase does not have them, and they are wavy rather than a precise line. Curious for certain.

Yours is cases in clear, the Borske Sklo vases are quite thin and not cased

John your post was corrected by a moderator (me!) to make the links work. You had errors in the URL BB code which the links were wrapped in. I should also have deleted your 2nd (corrected) post but was tired and missed it. I will remove it now so the topic makes sense.
