7 inches tall, polished pontil mark, some wear, I've heard that most have cracked/ rough pontil marks, heavy for its size and if not it didn't cost much so it's ok ;D
-
I am by no means an expert, but from the Hartley Wood I've had this one just doesn't look 'wonky' enough and the base looks too well finished. Hopefully someone in the know will be along shortly 8)

Thanks Della, it was only £2 so took the chance ;D ;D
-
I'd have paid two quid for it too! ;D

The colour looks a bit similar to the Whitefriars streaky here doesn't it?
I don't know anything about Whitefriars though so no idea if it might be shape wise or whether the streaky effect is right/cased etc.
Presuming both these are correctly id'd.

Here's the catalogue page to the streaky range: https://whitefriars-glass.com/whitefriars-cat-1972.php

Thanks both, some of the WF's pieces are clear to the base but the colours are similar, where are the WF's experts when you need 'em ! ;D ;D
-
is the 9790 pattern number not the same shape and design?
-
Height very close too.
Would echo Della, definitely not wonky enough. I would expect Hartley Wood to have a snapped off pontil mark, often see a slightly pushed up base too. This one was jagged enough to slice a finger.

That was my thinking too, M

Your both right, not Hartley and right again Della, had it confirmed by our Nigel and a WF's collector that it's Wf's ! ;D ;D thank you all !
