Any ideas on this decanter would be much appreciated. No pontil mark. Two seams. Non-ground stopper (no plastic). 23" high with a 8½" diam. slightly concave base. Smoked purple. That I think rules out Blenko unfortunately :roll: (and may be Pilgrim also?)
My guess is probably Italian, c.60s. What does anyone think please :P

It certainly looks Italian Anne, but I haven't seen one with those ridges on the neck before. So my jury is out. :wink: It's a cut above the usual, I can say that at least.

Thanks Max :P It is a nice quality one I agree. It has subtle vertical 'fluting' which probably can't be seen properly on the pic.
