Hello,

Can anyone id the maker of this nice paperweight....it has a signed cane in the middle...

This is a Perthshire paperweight made from 1978 onwards. Depending on the diameter of the weight it is either a PP1 or a PP2 with PP1 being large version and PP2 a medium version.

Thank you for that information It is 3.5 inches in diameter.....not sure of the sizes of PP1 and PP2

That would make it a PP1.

Hi.

If it is really 3.5 inch diameter it is unusually large.  How did you measure the diameter?

Yes - I did think 3.5 was rather large. That would normally be classed as a magnum. PP1 was usually between 2.5" and 3" in diameter and PP2 up to 2.5" diameter. Never heard of a PP1 magnum.

Hello Guys...it is actually 3 inches in diameter....my mistake....Thanks again for the information. It is quite beautiful I must say....
