Hello All.
Bought this piece as a sleeper recently thinking Monart.
Can someone confirm that the shape is UE or different or not Monart at all.
The colours are orange reds greens purples with pull ups etc not a colour I have come across before. With patches of blocks or colour.Rather nice if a little bright.
Polished outer flat base ring.No Pontil prunt left after grinding.
4 specks of aventurine and a few bubbles.
7” tall.
Your opinions are most welcome.
Thanks

Definitely Monart and UE. Very nice one too decorated with thin pieces of glass in addition to the usual.

Thanks Frank.
I wondered how they got that effect, one which I hadn’t seen before and which was throwing me a little bit.
So they laid thin pieces of glass on the glob then blew the piece in to shape.?
A thing of beauty as is most Monart IMHO
Thanks again

I think they come from blowing a thin bubble of coloured glass which is then broken, to crate the thin, irregularly shaped pieces, which would then be laid on the marver and picked up on the gob.
