Title: Green glass glug glug decanter - stopper has latticino twist, who made it?
Post by: user9318 on January 03, 2019, 04:40:03 PM
Does anyone have any idea who may have made this green glass glug glug decanter. The stopper is unusual that it has white latticino (I think that is the correct term) twists within. Ground out, polished pontil.

I have tried looking online via the usual places - google, google images, ebay etc but no luck on this one. Approx 7" tall with the stopper in place.

Thank you for any help with this one, totally baffled here!  :-\

Just from the look, could this be Bohemian in origin, as Danish glug glugs do not have the gilded bands and have a plain stopper. Then the stopper confuses the issue for me, as a Italian / Murano trait. Completely confused with this one, seems this is not an easy identification. I still like it though, I did purchase it in the end.

Maybe, who knows, I will see if I get some spare time at the weekend to do more googling / searching. Thank you.
