Hi. I'm new to this board so if my query is not quite right let me know! I have a small vase, about 5" tall, made of iridescent blue glass with a silver overlay. The overlay is marked with a La Pierre mark and I'm trying to identify the glass maker. I've not been able to find a maker mark I can identify. The only mark is on the bottom, it is etched 1/23 and below that the number 6. There is a mark on the bottom where the vase was taken off the blowing pipe. The vase itself as I said is about 5" tall with a trilled very symmetrical folded/ ruffled top. Any insights in my little vase would greatly be appreciated.

Hello and welcome. :)
We really need to see it to help. We have plenty of techie help and info here:-
https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,34093.0.html
to help you post images. You just need to find the right set of instructions for the systems you use.
A plain background helps, we need to see the base, the rim, any marks and the whole thing, please.
You can post up to 4 images per comment, just click on the "Choose file" box underneath, then on (more attachments) under the first box, to get the next box to pop up.

Thanks. I hope this post works. I've included a couple of photos. The important one of the bottom didn't photograph very well but you can just make out the etched numbers. The color is off in the photo; it's actually the same color as the main body of the vase. As I said in my previous post the vase is about 5" tall and I've verified that the silverwork is by La Pierre based on a mark on the silver. If more photos are needed please let me know and I;ll take a few more. Any suggestions on the glassmaker would be greatly appreciated.

Thank-you, those are great. :)
I think those should be enough for somebody who might know what it is, to be able to recognise it.
It is rather lovely.

There are a number of Loetz vases online with LaPierre silver overlay.
I don't know much at all about Loetz but hopeful someone will be able to help you and confirm a glass id.
Is it possible to have a photograph in daylight against a white background so the decor on the glass can be seen clearly please?
That might help id a decor as well as the shape. It could be something like Loetz Cobalt Papillon at a guess from the color but without seeing the actual decor clearly it is very difficult to tell.
Very pretty.
