Title: 20th Century glass cutter ?

I saw a very large cut glass bowl the other day with an attached note saying it was made as a wedding present and was cut by Charlie Swaine, not sure of the spelling, I'm sure I've heard this name somewhere before, has anyone else ?  ;D
