Well it's a story from the 1970's and has oodles of nostalgia  ! I wouldn't have known what I had found if it wasn't for you & Patrick working it out ! I don't  think  many could  have survived  intact as they are quite delicate . I did see another one once  which was damaged.  White glass with blue ... no clear casing.
