Title: Would love to know maker of this jazzy glass ashtray

Is it even supposed to be used as an ashtray?

Would love some help Identifying this piece. Would be great to know the maker, and if it is actually an ashtray.

Could it be Chribska? Joseph Hospodka? Any help would be much appreciated  :)

Not a Chribska shape as far as I know, perhaps it is from Murano but tracking down a specific maker could be tricky.
