Title: Mould blown (not pressed) glass jug uranium
Post by: Pat on August 15, 2006, 01:12:42 PM
A pressed uranium glass jug. I found a similar one on Pamelas site but not the same and it was unidentified I think. Any clues would be a great help.

No idea, sorry, but they are very common in the UK - I've got 3 and three matching glasses  :o

They're very common in the UK (I've had three and glasses to match). I would guess Dutch or Austrian.

This does not look like a pressed item. Look at the contour near the bottom ... how could this be pressed to create that shape? And allow the plunger to come out? Also, I see an interior rib optic? And, the handle looks like it's applied (a pressed handle will have a joint mark running its length).
