Hi,
I was wondering if somebody could tell me which block I would need for the Sowerby 2505 Centre Piece please?
I have the bowl and plinth, but would really like to get the correct block to go in it. The picture isn't clear enough in the 1933 catalogue to see the detail and the later catalogues/lists don't mention the block.
I've tried searching the topics but couldn't find anything, so my apologies if this has already been answered.
Bws,
Lindsey

The 2487 I think http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=832
Unless you mean the bowl version, in which case I don't know

Thank you. That would make sense from the shape.

I remembered that there is a clearer picture of the pattern book page in the Sowerby Gateshead Glass book, page 41. ::)
It is definitely a block with holes in it. From the picture it looks like it comes about half way up the bowl, but that would make it around 6" wide to fill the bowl or else approximately 2.5" deep to stand in the base. So I'm still none the wiser!
