Title: Large Orange Studio(?) Vase w/ Bubbles & Silver Nitrate/Chloride Decor
Post by: Pinkspoons on March 01, 2019, 02:37:06 PM
Acquired this from Germany with a Sam Herman piece.

It's a full 30cm tall, opaque orange cased thickly in clear glass, with a row of controlled(ish) bubbles shot through with silver nitrate/chloride, and some additional nitrate/chloride to the rim.

Snapped pontil mark to the base. And bothery heavy.

I had assumed that it was German, but my handful of books on German glass haven't revealed anything very similar.

Thanks for looking.
