Hi;
We acquired this vase from the former owner. It was purchase on the island of Murano, about 2004-5, at one of the factory stores (I believe). Attached are pictured of the vase (with a 750-ml wine bottle for sizing, it's about a foot tall), plus the two different signatures etched on the side and bottom. I am trying to identify the artist, and verifying that it *is* actually a Murano - I was not there when the purchase was made...
Thanks for any help!

No Idea but it looks like a quality vase to me. You cannot object to something like this in any collection of Murano.

I don't know what it is either, this isn't really my area, :)
but it's not a bit that's been made elsewhere then imported to have murano labels put on.
I think this is a genuine "something good", from Murano.

If you squint a bit.....and add some wishful thinking......could it be Sergio Costantini?

Flippin' 'eck Cat, I think you're right... compare with his signed piece here (scroll down) https://www.justanswer.com/antiques/4wrtb-just-purchased-murano-glass-bowl-signed-sergio-costantini.html 8)

Brilliant Anne! That is a much better signature than any comparible I was able to find......but it was the two i i 's and the S at the end that made me think it might be right.
I think that must be good news for Hugh, and another one for the solved pile!

Well done both of you. Never heard of Sergio but he certainly has a lot skill.
