Hi,
I'm a real newbie to this and was recently gifted this hand etched decanter and glasses.
After a few initial searches on the web I get the idea it may be of eastern european origin, however I guess I could be barking up entirely the wrong tree! I cannot seem to find any images on the net which match these ???
I have looked over each item quite thoroughly and cannot seem to see any form of mark to help identification. Each engraving is very slightly different.
If any of you could help towards identifying this set it would be much appreciated. Ask away if you have any questions which could help also.
Many thanks in advance - please be gentle... ;)

Thanks Legsy,
Google search brought a few results more similar (but none the same) just by using the word 'peach' and 'art deco'. I couldn't really think how to describe the colour but peach fits it well.
I'll keep searching....

Hi,
Still no luck tracking this down on the web..
Could anyone suggest what shape you would call the decanter?
Is there anywhere in particular I could look on the piece for any kind of mark?
Would you call it etched or engraved?
Would love to be able to identify this properly
Thanks again

Engraved I think - but see what others say.
Looking through old catalogues is something to try, look for the overall shape of the decanter and glasses - ignore the engraving for now.
I would look at Czech and then German makers first. For some Czech catalogues see this page (left hand side for various makers):

German:
https://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Deutschland.10.0.html
I hope you have time to spare - plenty to look at there! Sometimes that peach colour is called rosalin.

Thanks John,
Much appreciated, I'll try and have a look through the catalogues when I have some spare time... they seem like a good resource.
