Here are a group of etched blown celeries which have been positively identified as Burtles Tate of Manchester. This style of object can be seen in their documents and displays before WW1 and a little after - they went bust in 1924. Typically there are three bands of etched ovals, one being around the rim, with the central section showing foilage and fruit. They were described by a journal of the time as "an excellent specimen of medium priced crystal"
