Does anyone have any idea about this paperweight?
It has the look of the Whitefriars P21 double window pattern but minus the millefiori. The base has a star cut pattern. The diameter of the top polished face is 5 cms. It stands 4.5cms high. Not sure if it meant to be there but there is a nebulous ghostly cloud just visible in the centre of the piece. I acquired several similar shapes as this one along with a load of Whitefriars vases.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated as I am seriously out of my comfort zone..

Probably White Friars, I was at the factory in 1972 and bought several like this but without the star cutting in the bottom. They made these as blanks and then attached the millefiori setups later.

Thanks for the quick response. You have said enough for me to "Move on"
Thanks again.

It looks like a Webb Corbett to me

That's exactly what I thought. :)
It does have extra facets around the bottom, when compared to the colour cased ones with etchings on the base.
I don't imagine that means anything at all. It doesn't have engraving, it isn't cased in a colour.
The extra facets could be the "extra feature" on this particular weight.

I to, also thought upon seeing it, that it is a weight by Webb Corbett.

Been away and had not seen the latest replies to my question. So it looks like its Webb Corbett or Whitefriars?
Thanks to everyone who has come up with a view.

I don't believe it is Whitefriars

Its not Whitefriars.

There are some Webb Corbett ones here to compare against https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,46978.msg264298.html#msg264298 (https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,46978.msg264298.html#msg264298)
