Good Day All!
I purchased this vase a couple of months ago and have been researching it seeking an ID but to no avail , wonder if anyone here can help with a lead or information? When I bought it all the seller could tell me that it was Murano and she believed it to be from the 1960s. It is a lovely Ruby red with a clear glass frilled edging around the top that appears to have copper inclusions, the main body has controlled bubbles that are graduated from bottom to top. The vase is 19.5cm tall, 16.5 across the top and 8.5 across the bottom (all measurements approximate) Any info would be gratefully received TIA John p.s Any further pics required please ask. John

I should have mentioned in my original post that I had previously asked others about this vase and someone was kind enough to provide me with a link to an online gallery that has one for sale that looks strikingly similar to mine, the differences being that mine hase a ground and polished pontil mark and lacks the signature!

That is a signature that has been added post production, faked would be accurate.
Pretty sure these are from Empoli. For a long time we assumed these items were from Murano but Ivo claimed they were made in Empoli which really chimed for me, some threads discussing them:

Thanks for the reply John. Seems like I'll need to keep looking for an ID!
