Can anyone I/d this paperweight
My first thought was Murano then Chinese.
Flat polished base 3.125 inches dia x 2.125 inches tall and 525gm

Yes, Murano.

Similar in concept to 1920s Baccarat "Rock Paperweights". Search for that term to see plenty of examples.
