Really curious as not seen anything like these before and my google-fu skills drew a blank but found this forum. Expect it’s a common style but all the same would to know more?

Looks like pulegoso type glass (a foamy glass made by adding something volatile to the melt to create a mass of bubbles). These are possibly recent production from Mexico.
Welcome to the forum,
Steven

Ah that’s interesting. Thanks very much.
They are definitely 30 - 40 years old as were my Mothers.
But now I have a little more to go on.
Thanks again :)

What a useful post......I thought maybe Mexican recycled glass, but couldn't find anything with that finish. Now I can add Pulegoso to the mental database!
Thank you

That link is just a selling site (and not new stuff) though, so not a good source for an ID

Indeed......it was more the name for that type of glass, rather than an attribution to a maker.
