Hi everybody,
I have bought 2 milk glass cups, dating from the 18th century.
I think the blue one is older than the other one.
I'm pretty sure the colorful one, with the birds, is Bohemian.
The blue one seems like Alphine glass.
How is it called?
The seller mentioned south-Germany or Tirol (Austria).
I've came across a beaker that kind of looks like the blue one.
Does anybody know the age of these?
I assume the one with the birds is ca. 1870-1880.
The blue one could be older.
But I have little experience with this glass.
I hope somebody can help me.
Thanks in advance!!

Hi , both are pretty much as you describe them , the spotted one is South Tirol area, and the other is bohemian, both 18th c with the spotted one being the earlier of the two c 1750 ish with the bohemian example more likely to be later , up to 1800 or so , all you need now are the matching saucers for the tea cups.
cheers ,
Peter.

Hi,
Thank you for your response!
I think finding a matching saucer for the blue one would take a decade.
For the bohemian one it would be do-able.
I don't know if I'm allowed to ask here, but could you tell me more
about it's value? (The blue one)
I can't find anything online, other than the beaker in my link,
which has been sold for: € 500.
(Lot 0622: https://imkinsky.com/uploads/results-pdf/imKinsky-DE-Ergebnisliste-107.pdf)
I would like to place it on my webshop, and I'm thinking about +/- € 300-400

They are both gorgeous - especially the blue and white.
I have one similar to the other with it's saucer and also a milchglas flask from that era as well.
Lovely and delicate.
Try searching under milchglas 18 Jh. or under milchglas on Dr Fischer Auctions.
Could take a while (I once went through 1000 bechers to find one similar to a decanter I have :) )
But they have some great glass through that auction house so it's worth looking.
Here's a jug sold in Dec 2018

Thank you!! That's a great find!!
I saw this one on the same website.

Think my price was a little too high.
I now ask € 275 for it.
