14cm high, partially polished, elongated, pontil mark. The base is approx. 6mm thick. Feels a bit Scandi, but posted here because I really don't know.

Have a look at Reidel. :)
They did things like this.

Sue you did it again......it looks like a blank for this etched one

It's the only image I could find, but it does feel right.
Another one down.......only another forty boxes to go....... Thank you!

Cat, was your second image added by mistake - it's not the same as the first item.
-
;D
Yes, it is the same glass, Kev. :)
The stem is the width of the bowl, wide and flat. The second pic is the side view.
I've got similar glasses beside me. Reidel did produce a fair few different patterns of glasses with these strange stems. I've found a few over the years.
It's much nicer without the etching, Cat. These are pretty retro and funky in style, the etching is decidedly square.
(Says she, lapsing back into '70s terminology. I can't think of the contemporary word.)

Doh! Thanks Sue. I am having a day or two of not getting things right. Best I stay away from commenting for a wee while, methinks. ::)

It's a very strange and unexpected stem, Kev. But you can see on the third pic how wide it is and where it is, through the base.
And it makes a change from you catching me out. ;D

Managed to track down a labelled example, so this one can officially go in the solved file
