Title: Gigantic 1950s Swedish Vase = Aseda Glasbruk
Post by: horochar on August 19, 2006, 12:49:10 PM
Could someone help me to identify the designer and manufacturer of this very large vase?  I'm assuming it dates from the 1950s.  Completely unsigned, except for the foil label.
Thanks,
Charles.

For what it's worth I agree too...I have a few of these in different colours, look lovely displayed...anyone know how many colours were produced?
Emmi

PS I have a couple with squared off bases , I have always assumed them to be Aseda too?

Hi Emmi,

I have one with a squared off base too, which was attributed to Aseda. They are also depicted in Fire & Sea.

Produced in amber, moss green, ocean blue and cherry red. Designed by Bo Borgstrum ca 1960's

This is for the both square footed and the one in question in this thread.
