just found this sharp-looking lamp with labels on both the vase base and glass shade
last week there were comments here that there are many gorgeous Murano lighting products but few are marked
so it was a surprise to find this lamp
15.5 x 12.5 x 6 inches
I do believe the existing bulbs should be replaced with lower profile size though

The translation of this label is : Glass made by Murano Masters - Made in Italy.
Modern artifacts from Murano should declare "Made in Murano". In other terms this product maybe italian but not from Murano island.

I knew there must be some actual Murano branded table lamps out there somewhere ;D
this past weekend I picked up these P. Nason design sculpture lamps that look fairly cool
the two I bought ( a ram head and lady) are 17 high x 16 wide cm

Hi Jon, like the neat finish of your white lamp. I have a large collection of Murano lamps(mostly Archimede Seguso or SvDA). I bought them as they are very reasonable in price, most of them around 50-70 Aus $$$ each. They occasionally come with a label but mostly without.
It's an excellent way to get an example of a piece of glass that would cost hundreds + if it is a vase, yet you can buy the lamp for 1/5th of the price. I also like to have them around the house.
I'm hoping that table lamps don't come back into fashion until I have filled my requirements.

Your Nason lamps weren't made in Murano either, sorry; they were designed by V Nason and made somewhere else in Italy

could be, I will figure this out yet ;D
