Title: question about different Murano designs, tutti frutti, end of day............
Post by: jonspencer on July 31, 2019, 06:47:30 AM: I am trying to understand the difference in these designs or styles

all pieces and photos are mine

the first I assume is tutti frutti from AVeM

then supposedly there is no such thing as "end of day" > was just a myth?

so I am interested in how you would refer to these 3 other types of design?

I visit lots of markets + shops and I rarely see Biazantino pieces for sale

by coincidence I bought a Bizantino piece today, they are like detailed abstract paintings, you see something new each time you look at them

It may be from Murano but would be much quicker to produce than going for the full 'Bizantino' effect. So that would indicate a lower priced item and possibly a later date and possibly not by the 'original designer' (AVEM). Some of the techniques are possible Murano, (see terminology above).
