Title: Hexagonal solifleur vase with purple, bubbled, bottom half - marked STV
Post by: catshome on September 09, 2019, 03:08:35 PM
Just under 8" high x 1.25" diameter.  Heavy base is almost 0.75" thick.  Weighs 242g. Marked STV H2969.

The only things I have found for "STV Glass", are a French company Cristallerie de Pantin STV & C, and a Czech company STV AS, Valasské Mezirící, who manufacture technical glass.

Anyone come across anything else?  STV could be the artist's initials, rather than the company, but I drew a blank there too.

It won't be Pantin as they merged with Legras in 1920 and were only known from 1900 as Sainte Hilaire, Touvier de Varreux et Compagnie (STV & C)

Sorry.....I typed a longer post which included that information, but one of the pictures was too big and I lost the lot and had to retype it.  I forgot to retype that bit, so thank you for adding it.
