Hello,
I purchased a number of items at a local auction recently and amongst them is this item, which the auctioneer described as a 'spoon rest' possibly Scandinavian...
Its certainly shaped like it could hold 3 spoons, but I doubt if that was its original design purpose - although I could be wrong! Its pretty heavy and does look a sort of Scandinavian naturalist style. Bit like ice or water maybe? Its 'L' shaped and I hope you can make it out in the photos!
Its about 13cm long and 7cm high. I tried looking for any makers marks etc, but sadly couldn't find anything. I have spent quite a long time searching online, and found a few that it looked a little like the style of, but nothing quite like this. If there is anyone who could shed some light on this object I would be very grateful!!
Thanks

Hello.
It is a pipe rack.
I searched in Swedish.
”Pipställ i glas”
I found one alike in the images but it was an old auction with no information.

Hi SveziaJonas,
Many thanks for your response! A pipe rack??? I would never have thought of that!
I will need to do a bit more research for possible makers etc...
Thanks again for replying

If it is a Swedish my guess would be Lindshammar, they made simular glass.

I‘m pretty sure that this rack is made by Pukeberg Sweden . The Designer is so far I remember Rolf Sinnemark. The rack was produced for 3, 5 and 7 pipes. Rolf Sinnemark worked first for Pukeberg and than later for Kosta Boda and now he works for his own ore together with masterblower like Mike Johannson. I spend 2017 a couple of hours watching them working together... I will never forgett it.

Yes, it's Pukeberg, I have a reference photo of a labelled one.

Perfect with a labeled one. The only one I found in Sweden when searching had no reference.
