Title: Help with unknown vase
Post by: Jagtype on November 07, 2019, 12:31:26 PM
Hi,

I have just posted about a couple of vases I have recently acquired and with them was this clear vase. I absolutely love it, but have no idea to its origin.

It has 4 lovely swirls on it, that really stand out and a very curved top. I have seen some with similar style, but this has smooth swirls, not bumpy etc and most I have seen have a flat, straight rim, not this highly curved finish. Sadly, no makers marks etc, so really clueless as to ID.

It is around 24.5cm tall at its highest point. With a slightly rounded base. It is quick thick glass and feels very substantial.

Any help would be very gratefully received!!

Please add a picture of the base.....even if unmarked it can still give information.

It can be a challenge to get a good base shot......try taking the picture at a 45 degree angle.  Have a look at other posts on the board to see some good base shots.
