these three Registrations came by way of looking for Jobling items last week, when I was at Kew - I've had a look on the Board's archive and whilst there are a number of past conversations discussing U.K. BoT Registrations allocated to Hoskins Rose, and related Libochovice designs, I didn't see these particular Nos. - but may well have missed them. Hoskins Rose were London based importers/agents, and were known to have connections with other Libochovice (Czechoslovakian) made pressed glass designs.
If these are in the archives already, then ignore my notes .
These three Registrations all date to 6th October 1937.
Am sure the girls here will know more about trinket sets and glass trays for 'nibbles', so leave it to others to add any additional info that might be of interest.
These factory prototypes appear opaque - ceramic perhaps - but could be wrong - maybe they are glass. This design doesn't look to be on Pamela Wessendorf's pressglas-pavillon, and I can't find Libochovice designs on the glas-musterbuch, but the design does appear on the Libochovice 'Glassexport Before 1958 (Sklo Union Catalogues - Art Before Industry). For those who have access to the CD ROM discs. the pattern appears to be No. 1240 on page 19.
TNA pix will appear over three separate posts (should be eight in total) - first is Rd. 823695
-
next up is Rd. 823696 …………. salt and pepper perhaps ?
-
lastly - Rd. 823697 - a toilet/trinket set that hopefully someone here will have seen already.

Thank you for posting these, Paul.
I will have a look at the trinket set design and see if I can link it to a particular Libochovice pattern.

thanks Fred - are you suggesting that this design doesn't match with Libochovice pattern 1240, as I've indicated - it does have what appears to me to be a remarkable similarity, but of course I could be wrong. :)

I thought I might be able to find a Libochovice set listed on https://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms3/czechoslovakian/libochovice
but drew a blank for any pattern 1240 set or component.
I have checked the Libochovice Sklo Union pre-1958 catalogues on the CD-ROM and, as you say, the tray for the trinket set is pattern no. 1240 on page 19.
The candlestick is pattern 1241 on page 49.
The lidded pots seem to be patterns 1242 (large pot) and 1243 (small pot) on page 42.
The ringholder is pattern 1244 on page 47.
The fact that the trinket set components are shown individually rather than all together is probably why it is missing as such on Anne's site. So, a new Libochovice trinket set 1240-1244 for addition to the site?
The oval tray RD 823695 is Libochovice pattern no. 1716 (page 19 of the catalogue) and the separate bit to sit on top are pattern no. 1716 on page 23.
I can't seem to find a clear match for the RD 823696 salt and pepper pot/cruet set in the catalogue at the moment.
Fred.

thanks for the clarification on the pattern Nos. Fred - I thought it all seemed a bit too simple …………… rushing again. So, a variety of pattern Nos. with separate Nos. for individual components. Hope it's possible to add some of my pix to the link you've shown - in due course.
There are a number of Hoskins & Rose Registrations in 1938, some in 1939 and perhaps one in 1940 - after which time it looks like they cease.

Woohoo! A new set, thanks Paul and Fred, that's super! 8)
I've added it to the GTS website now and... we have a photo of all the pieces as well (in clear glass). How neat is that! https://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms3/czechoslovakian/libochovice/1240-1244
