I'm sure I've seen one of these candlesticks before but can't find it on the board anywhere. Can anyone identify it for me please? Height is 25cm (9 7/8 inches) base diameter 9cm (3 5/8 inches). Base is slightly concave with lump in the middle at the bottom of the stem. Colour matches my Whitefriars bud vase, but is this also W/f or something else?

See them about in clear too, is it the kind of red that washes or scratches off? Either way suspect they are contemporary.

No it's red through and through John, not scratchable or surface coated. It's quite weighty for its size and with the wide base it's almost impossible to tip it over.
I had a red cased vase that was like coated and one wash and the red stayed in the bowl, and the vase came out clear! ;D

Scandinavian? perhaps

Is that 'hand made quality' a label Ikea use?
Similar to but not quite the same shape as Ikea's Blomster 'sticks.

The ones with those labels appear to be the applied colour versions. Example here with colour loss and the same label. Anne's appears to be better quality. I think I remember the thread Anne referred to, but cannot locate it or remember the outcome, which is very frustrating!

Thanks all, very interesting to see other examples. Mine matches the dimensions of the smaller one in John's link. One of those two also has a chip out of it and it doesn't appear to be coated where it's damaged, so I'm still a bit puzzled by this, as the eBay one does appear to be coated yet both links appear to be the same items and mine matches at least one of them!
