Title: Registration 79749 - 21.07.1851 - George Joseph Green
Post by: Paul S. on January 28, 2020, 12:26:04 PM
Fred  -  as requested, some pix of Rd. 79749 which allocated to George Joseph Green with date of Registration of 21st July 1851.      As you've already commented, the Register entry reads  'Set of Glassware' - although as we can see, the Representation pix show one shape only, so would assume it was the moulded design, rather than the shape that was being Registered.
As usual, information on the item is brief to say the least, and  lacks any indication of size, or intended use etc.     Any thoughts on what purpose this particular piece may have been designed for - it looks shallow.

Thank you for the pix, Paul. I'm really grateful. I'll try and add them to the GMB RD database in the next couple of days.

As to the purpose of this item, who knows? Tray, shallow dish... ?

Fred.
